changes

There have been so many changes over here since I got back from Paris.  We have moved into the house, I now have friends I can go out with, I have picked up ultimate Frisbee, Mason is now technically an "adult", and we are going to have visitors for the next two weeks!

We had to be out of our awesome flat by Thursday morning at 10.  So we all decided to take all of our things over to the house on Wednesday so we did not have to worry about it the next morning and could just wake up turn in the keys and go.  Wednesday night we were all hanging at the house talking about how the rental furniture will be there the next day.  We were having so much fun that we did not want to leave so we all decided to camp out on the floor which was actually a lot of fun.  The next morning as planned all of our rental furniture came and we were officially in the house! It is a great house.  Even though personally I loved sleeping on a cot in the living room window of our flat it is nice to have a bed and a room.  Our new address (in case you feel the need to send me a letter saying hi or wanted to send something fun!) is :

The Thursday after we moved into the house I was invited into London to go out with some friends. That is right I now have some awesome friends.  It has been fun because when I go into London for classes Tuesday night we are able to go out as well which is a lot of fun.  So we went out that Thursday and they showed me all the places that they like to go.  It was fun seeing the new area that I had never really been before.  I have also thought about taking another weekend trip or two with the crew so that should be an adventure as well.  

Our trainer over here has been trying to get all of us to come out and play some Ultimate on Saturday mornings.  Well as I did it! I was really scared walking down to the field at the bottom of our hill because I kept thinking about how I am totally going to screw up and had never played this before.  But turns out I had a blast and I was not terrible either.  I caught on to the game quite quickly which was so nice and I was even able to get some points on the board! This is definitely now part of my weekly routine.  Tracy came down and played for a little bit as well which was fun and I think she wants to continue to play as well.  We have already ordered our own frisbee so we can keep up!

The next big change in our life was the fact that Mason is now 18!  Now I am not sure if you all know this but it is legal for people to drink at the age of 18 over here.  So it was kind of like he had this 21 birthday early.  It was a lot of fun to take him out and buy him a drink or two, which I am sure he thoroughly enjoyed.  We also decided that because we celebrated his 18th here then I have to be there to celebrate his 21st in the states !  On Friday we all went out for dinner in London and went to see the Lion King.  It was so much fun to all go in to town together.

 The last and final change is that I have a visitor here with me right now! It is so fun.  Michael and Shelby have come over to visit me and see the city.  He has been here since Saturday morning and we are having so much fun! I am sure there will be a lot to tell about his trip.
